My life-long passion for planning began at fourteen, working at my family’s charming inn on Cape Cod as it hosted events and guests from around the globe. I went on to Boston University, gaining a degree in Hospitality and Event Management, with a concentration in Social Media Marketing and Public Relations.
Next came several years managing events for two luxury, high-profile event planners in Massachusetts.
This included planning and design of celebrations ranging from 200-person weddings on private estates, to elegant 800-person galas with celebrity headliners, to an intimate 80-person dinner for the President of the United States. I was immersed in all facets of the industry, with a primary focus on intricate VIP celebrations and highly detailed private estate and tented weddings.
In 2014, I left a major luxury planner and caterer to bring AYE to life and am proud (and humbled) to have since been named one of the USA’s leading tented wedding experts and 2019’s Best Wedding Planner of Boston by Boston Magazine.
With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry (as of 2020), executing 300+ successful weddings and celebrations, and more than twelve years’ experience within the hospitality industry, my enthusiasm continues to grow, as does my love of sharing this wealth of experience with my wonderful clients.
